The Steve Heath book does have all the wiring diagrams in it. I think the TVR car club archive on their website also has them, but might be in the members only section. I've just done a Google search and there are a load of wiring diagrams available if you search images.

hoepfeully you have already a car with the coloured wiring, and not the all-black wiring..those were ended in late 1982...but who knows?
on the all black-wired cars the numbering on the wires, mainly inside eenginebay´s fuse- and relay board may have got lost or is destroyed or not "readable" anymore.
