There does seem to be a lack of 450SE buyers in the UK as I'm finding out :-(
Wonder if your buyer would like 2 of them
The classic market is pretty stagnant at the moment mate.Wonder if your buyer would like 2 of them
Add to that yours is a modified Monster, so it's always going to be harder to sell than a standard (If there is such a thing) car. Just look at anything in the Wedge world which has a carb conversion. They hang around for ever.
I was talking to a friend on Tuesday evening about selling his 390se and my 500se (No such thing, again modified). We thought it would be hard to get £10k in the current climate.
The one owner 450se which sold at auction in 2024 for around £23k with fees. It was passed on after a very short time unfortunately due to the owners other half not being a fan. But it sold for very strong money.
So buyers are out there. Just a crap time at the minute due to our incompetent government and the Orange Imbecile.
I sold my 350i in 2024 via an eBay classified add. But that was only £7500. So always easier to shift than a rarer model.
Best of luck with the sale. I didn't realise it was still for sale so probably worth promoting it on the FB pages etc.

I guess we are back to the old 'They are only worth what someone will pay for them' issue! I have thought about selling my 350i but I hate to think what the real value is these days. I suspect would be hard pushed to get £5000 and it is faultless!!
Not worth selling at the minute mate. £5k is a project in my opinion. I do think mine was well priced at £7k/£7.5k (Can't remember) as the plate TVR32X must have been worth a bit. But I would not be selling a good 350i for £5k.I've been talking to a Guy who was looking for a Wedge and he found what looks to be a good car, But has done very little mileage in the last 10 years. Circa 1100 miles. I think that went for again £7k needing fuel lines and a few bits.
So if you do decide to sell don't give it away.
As I said above eBay classified add at £19.95 worked for me. Deposit in less than 48h and gone in under a week. I had zero but messer's and a few of them from FB forums and market place.

Cheers Karl. It's been mentioned on the FB pages a couple of times but I can always send reminder. At the end of the day, I've had it 29 years and another one won't kill me. It will still get used a bit.ATB Karl.
I won't sell for a pittance as other than routine maintenance it costs me nothing to keep and it's not an issue for me to have it.
I hadn't tried Ebay so might give it a go - the owners groups on FB and on here is where I thought I'd get most interest and knowledgeable buyers.
