Finally invested in a high torque starter, excellent fit, leads are well away from manifold.
After a 13 month engine rebuilt and refit.
Turned key one burble then died! No fuel, replaced corroded terminals on fuel pump, now have fuel feed and spark. Engine turns but will not fire.
Borrowed amp and brain off another v8 still will not fire!
Anyone any ideas?

Firing order correct.
Fuel pump wiring correct.

Having left plugs out over weekend and allowed bores to dry, tried mates contol unit again and it fires up!
control unit now been sent off for repair....ouch !

Hopefully nearly there for the long awaited day of obtaining a new MOT and being able to drive it once more.

You say you have sparks but are they in the right order ?

Are the injectors opening (may hear them ticking) and actually getting fuel in there ?

Any big obstructions to airflow ?

If it's turning over and you have a fuel/air mixture and a spark all in the right place at the right time and it still doesn't fire then that's the end of my very limited knowledge !

Fault found to be ECU ouch!!!!!!!!
