Has anybody got ally pedals fitted to their car?Checked the threads and was back in 2002 last mentioned.How about the leven ones?

Yep, got the leven ones. Very nice. Easy to fit.

Tell me do they fit over the old pedals ,because i think someone at some stage has welded a larger accelorater pedal to mine

Standard on mine. Is that a TVR word

Drill required. They replaced the worn out rubber bits that constantly fell off. Drill holes, fit new pedals. Easy. Mind you I understand that to pass an MOT there has to be rubber? 3 years of passes now.

The check comes under:

Inside the car
Anti-lock braking system (if fitted) Warning lamp is checked for:
• Function.
• Sequence of operation.

Footbrake
• Reserve travel on the footbrake so that it does not go down to the floor
• Pedal rubber not worn to excess
• Correct operation of the servo assistance system.

Now, if there is no pedal rubber and the pedal is designed not to beed rubber ... it can't be "worn to excess". This is also not an absolute test ... "excess" is in the eye of the examiner - Streaky

have you got a photo of the leven pedals - are they like this or are they more rectangualr like the standard pedals?
