Mini-Wedge Fest at Oulton Park on 2nd October ?
Discussion
After the success of the BBWF, how about a mini wedge fest at the season final of the TVRCC challenge?
Oulton park is a great track and the racing should be fun. im sure we could organise somthing with tickets and maybe food ect if anyone is up for it.
a good idea or not ?

Can Anyone interested in this post a note on here and drop me an e-mail to
wedges@blackcatracing.net stating how many people and if they would like to stay overnight somewhere and anything else they'd like to do.
then in a while i can look at arranging a hotel and see if i can sort somthing on race tickets from BARC
Cheers

I used to race and marshal there (when Knicker Brook was one of the most demanding corners on UK circuits, and the banked hairpin was called Esso). Held a lap record for many years ... 128.714 ... mpG - in a Fiat 500 (two up and averaging between 35 and 45mph around the full circuit).
I'd love to come, but, as ever, will need to see what SWMBO has already planned

aint this how the BBWF started just from a forum message , with no help at all from the TVRCC ,its just that i have my subscription renewal form to fill in and send off butwas thinking what do i really get out of the club (monthly mag which wont do articles to help us to keep the cars on the road in case it goes wrong) ,i cant make most of the club meets cos of my shift work and if i go they just stand around looking at each others cars which look the same each month. and what could ido for the club ,not alot cos of work restrictions, so it was nice to see an event setup by pistonheaders for wedge owners, even though i could not get there cos i had stipped out the car again to do the carpets properly this time( so my own fault)anyway i prefer to go out for a long drive than stand around but if there was to be another wedge fest i would try and go, if i'm off that day......ian
Hi Graham
First off it was good to meet you at BBWF and stay up to have a
with you...
Would love to see you again at Oulton Park, but it's a bit too far away from me and I'm not sure what I'm doing work wise yet. However I will try my very best to see you at Brands Hatch on the 7th August.
