here we go again - update

Would you beleive it. Got in the car and it started first time. Had to use a lot of throttle 2000'2500rpm to make it go. As soon as I tryed to let it idle it cut out and would not start again. Any ideas?
Checked the firing order, dont ask me why but found that it was 1-8-4-5-6-3-7-2. Now seeing that I have not touched it since Ian set it up I must have got a Poltergiest or something lurking in my garage.
It does go and went well until this non-starting fiasco. But as per manual the order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. So what do you think

Mine won't idle for a while after a cold start. It's also a bit rough during warmup.

Mark YHM, not a fix.

Anyhow, flooding? Caused me a mare related to what I mailed you. Plugs needed a really good deep clean and then only solved proper on a new set.

Sounds too rich - replace the engine temperature sensor? Try pulling the fuse to the fuel pump and see if it'll run on reduced pressure for a bit.

Had same problem, and it was the coolant temperature sensor. Quickck test: short cut sensor, is should run ok as ECU thinks it is a hot engine. Short cutting worked for me to get home.
