LSD for wedge tvr's
Discussion
I have a 350i fhc track day car! and the next part to upggade is the diff! was wondering if anyone knows if any of the later wedges have LSD's and what the ratios are?
Im aware that quaife do one but its out of my price range! and also i could get an old power locking diff from a jag (but i think that only works on take offs!)
If anyone has any ideas it would be most apprciated!

The diffs on the wedges were "Salisbury" LSD. There were different ratios available depending on the car and on which day of the week it was made !!
Ratios of:-
3.54:1
3.07:1
3.31:1
3.43:1
LSD's Were standard for different V8 models from 390SE to 450SEAC.
Probably someone on here can give you better and more info.

You should be able to source an LSD from any of the Jaguar specialists. The Jag was supplied in a variety of flavours as mentioned above, plus ratio's down to 2.88:1.
MY 350i has a 3.54:1 fitted as standard.
All should fit with no modifications as i believe the casing's to be identical.
It may well be worth giving Bernie Braden a buzz at Competition Transmission Services (01582 840008), not a lot he doesn't know about this sort of thing.
Hope this helps.

I've got a 3.54:1 powerlocker sat in the garage...
it was from jaguar in 2001!!! complete with the later alloy rear cover...
it's done 3 seasons in the back of the 280 tasmin, so not worked very hard.
In fact the 280 doesnt have enough power to make it work and leads to some interesting handling !!!!
