doorhandle comes from a what?

After only seventeen years the interieur doorhandle of my 350 broke. It is an ugly black plastic thing. Can anyone out there tell me where it came from? Are new replacements available. Does anyane manufacture them in stainless steel?

No, but it's an MOT failure point, despite the fact that you can stand up and climb out anyway....

They do look a bit BL parts bin, though.

a good friend who once took a ride in my 350 said he was certain that the door handle came from a austin metro (he had a turbo) and he was an expert on that car or should i say fanatic this might be a line to follow

I think we might have internal and external handle threads going at the same time. Anyway I think the INTERNAL handles and the dish thing that goes behind come from and early metro or alllleeggeroooow thingy I think I remember getting me foot caught up in one in a girlfriends Metroshed but thats another story

Streaky, You have to remember that in a metro in that eeerrr... kind of situation Parts of you are in the back and eeerrrr..... parts of you are in the front. The trick was to get all the right parts in the same place at the same time

And yes I had a Maxi sold me morris 1000 van to get it WHAT LUXURY
