Gandalf your a wizard can u make it stop raining please i want to drive my new wedge with the roof down!Not that putting the roof up would keep me dry you understand but i am putting off the inevitable wet carpet/spin for as long as poss.
Long live the wedge revival, i just need to sell my Moggy now - see classifieds road legal trackday cars.

If you keep it above 40mph it doesn't get that wet inside, even with the roof down...

I had a leaky sunroof on my Alfa GTV.
Half a tub of Vaseline fixed it.
Simple & cheap.

And it's not often you can claim to have used half a tub of vaseline by 11AM on a Saturday

Vaseline yeh used to use it on my helmet when i was a biker LOL... stops the visor seal going brittle.
Will Adams above 40mph rule work whist going sideways or backwards?
What fuel do u guys use? (350i) i was told LRP by the previous owner but cant buy it round here, will optimax be ok? Have resorted to Lead additive from Halfords for the mo - belt and braces etc...

You will need a lot of vasaline to seal a Wedge soft top


If you have a leaky wedge soft top there are several tricks to aid in keeping the old H2O out

Rover V8 engines used in Wedges had hardened seats fitted as standard, so no need for lead substitute. Mine is set up for cooking unleaded, but you can advance the ignition a bit more if you use 97RON super u/l like optimax.

Well, I just got my 390SE timing set to 6 deg.

It was 14 deg !

- and just to stay within this double topic.....

I haven't road tested it properly yet, cos it's bloody raining !!!
