BBWF - Parking
Discussion
Hi All, on the way back from my mini holiday, I dropped in at Ettington Chase and made a sketch of the carpark. I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread on this subject so that hopefully, everyone will pretty much know where to park on arrival. Maybe the moderator could make this thread a sticky.
I'm intending to come down on the saturday morning in convoy with the N.E. and West/North Yorks lot so it's up to the early arrivals to sort themselves out!
There are around 110 spaces on the two main sections of carpark, with some overspill in the area we won't be allowed to do donuts in this year :weeping:
I'll put up a copy of the sketch with my thoughts on what should go where after some initial feedback and ideas from The Wedge Collective.
Once I've collected a huge mass of conflicting opinions, I'll decide the actual parking plan. :D

how about all dived up into different models as was attempted last year
This seems the most obvious way to get owners of similar cars all parked together. If that's what everyone wants.
Sounds like a plan
PS. Bear in mind that last years do-nut area is allocated as a traders area

Good job you told me. That means we have 110 places. After that it's catch as catch can. Unless the traders could unload and set up on the grass and then move their (non-wedge) cars out of the way?

parking by age could be a problem, as we saw last year there were some car that appeared to have been registered long after the build date, All I am sure of is I get there on FRIDAY so the 200's will be in prime position!! !!!beer of couse may persuade me to move just a bit.
You're in charge.....
Until I get there.

Don't worry Rog, I'll be keeping an eye on Degzie
Wasn't the car park taped off last year? Did the hotel do that or was it that nice Mr. Hyde the ex Wedger?

Cheers mate. If he starts any funny business, clobber him with a parking cone.

Not sure. Sounds like a good idea though.
