Yes, they as in Zender. Any chance of posting a photo? The 420SE has different spats in front of the rear wheel compared to the 350i or SEAC cars.

That would be ebcause the 420SE has the 390SE rear under aerofoil or what ever it's called. Looks from the photo to be a 390SE - so maybe it's a 390Se with a 4.2 engine? I know it's splitting hairs but there is a slight difference. Don't know how many 420SEs were built - 5?

Gents

The bible lists the 390se and the 420se as the same car. I supose the 420se were a rare car compared to the 390se.

Well that's daft isn't it? For any single car name TVR build lots of cars all slightly different, not one model of car with slightly different names.

I was referring to the boot spoilers.

Yes. That definitely looks like the spoiler on the boot of my 350, and it has the name "Zender" moulded into it. Was this only an after market thing or would a dealer have offered it as an option?
NOTE the position my aerial on the rear wing means that it goes through the spoiler. This means that you have to have the stereo off to open the boot. Unless you want a bent aerial that is

Berluddy Hell!!!

This is far too cheap. I'm trying to sell mine - at this rate I'm going to go bankrupt!

It is a high mileage one though.

Stop selling your Wedges at cheap prices! PLEASE!

So was (past tense) I

The seller probably realised it was a bargain, lowered the reserve and the buy it now had disappeared.

Still a nice buy if it checks out OK

Try reading the complete section. It explains that TVR simply did not break out the production figures seperately for these two models and as far as the production numbers were concerned grouped them as the same. Not that the 390SE and 420SE are one model with different names....
