Having never driven the beast in the wet I hope its wall to wall sunshine come the weekend. Whats it actually like driving these torque laden wedges in the wet anyway ? Scary ?
If mine is anything to go by. Scary just covers getting off the drive in the wet. The rest of the jourey isn't too bad as I usually have my eyes closed.

Not scary at all, if you can control your accellerator foot. I stick to very slow acceleration and a maximum speed of 70 mph to be on the safe side. Packing up of the windscreen wiper in the rain would be my main worry.

Driving in the wet is no problem. Just be careful. I've done rain, sleet, snow, flood, you name it. Snow was definitely the most fun. BTW there is no need to close your eyes as the condensation blocks your view soon enough. It's a bit like wearing Jujanta 2000 peril sensitive sunglasses

According to the (famously inaccurate) BBC weather service - it's going to be overcast for the weekend - but no sign so far of rain - so it's either going to tip it down, or we'll be getting fried in the sun - if worst comes to the worst - I'm sure we can rig up a marquee from the wedge roofs, duct-taped together..
Look forward to seeing everyone Sat am..

That's the plan - although there is a chance I'll meet you all up there, depending on whether there's a party going on Friday night
Is it easy to find the assembly area off J4 Steve ??
I've just looked at the BBC weather site and they are forecasting :
Friday 22 degrees cloudy with sunny intervals
Saturday 17 degrees cloudy with sunny intervals
Sunday 16 degrees cloudy with sunny intervals
For Stratford upon Avon - which is 5 miles away..
I'm sure it can all change but it looks hopeful
