Had a 'few' rounds at the zolder meeting and fully worn my brakepads. Did 6k with these pads :driving:..... Going to fit new ones but can't remember from which ford they are exactly. Was it from a granada or cortina?? And what type/year??

Thanks

If you have standard solid fronts with ford calipers I have a set of Mintex 1144's available, unused. You gonna be at BBWF? I can bring them (in fact I will anyway).

Granada. But get fast road as Adam says. Probably necessary to replace the brake fluid as well, would propose DOT 5.1. DOT 4 can be fine for road, but not for heavy braking and track days.

If the pads wear very quickly, it is worth to have a look at the discs if they are still fine (could cause the severe wear). If disk are not ok, propose to upgrade the whole lot at the front. Better safe then sorry.

At least it has been the best investment yet I have done. Not too expensive compared with replacing the standard setup if you are careful. The wedge will then brake under any circumstances (= no fade at all, even after thrashing it about 10 rounds without stopping at Zolder). Ok, it is 300 mm, vented and 4-pot calipers....
