paint colour

does any one know what the actual colour of my car is, says storm grey in the add (gray 400 in classifieds) but could do with a touch up for it

I obtained some automotive paint suppliers colour chips and waded through 'til I found a match, than got some mixed up and haned it to a good sprayman to finalise the colour match to the original.

The code should be on the plate on the inner wing. You could always give the factory a call with the code and they should be able to tell you what colour it is / was when left factory.

Most auto paint suppliers will mix a match for you. You should have such an establishment near you to supply all the local metal benders and bashers. Using the original paint may not match due to years of exposure/fade.
