Just took delivery of this:

After a bit of fiddling on mild steel to get the hang of things, I swapped the tungsten, switched to AC and rattled this off on some scrap alloy...

Now, about that quad-throttle plenum chamber for the TVR... :hehe:

Well, not in the metallurgical sense
Funnily enough there are TIG sets that double as plasma cutters.. made in China, guaranteed to last all afternoon
This one's British, dammit: you can tell by the amount of swarf left inside it, the crooked connectors, coffee cup rings...
TVR TIG welder, anyone?
