Yes, I know, jumping on the bandwagon. In fact I feel a little sheepish about posting this, Ted will probably have my hide.
But I refuse to be cowed:banghead:, so as a flimsy pretext for the title maybe we should discuss leather care.
I got fleeced last time I bought some 'leather cream', it certainly cost more than a tanner....er, tenner :D
I did once have a small bottle of 'Gliptone' but I herd:rolleyes: they stopped making it, anyone know if that's correct? Don't think I'm a fussy byre ;), I'm not really, but I can't buy what I can't find!

Whilst trying not to milk the thread of humour, I can tell you that Gliptone are still around advertising in theback of the two main classic car mags (towards the back notmally) every month. They can supply their leather restorer and other products.

Just bought a bottle of Gliptone cleaner and conditioner off ebay. Around a tenner i think for both.

I used some good stuff the other day, got it from Halfrauds - Really excellent stuff and easy to use....

Auto Glym Leather cleaner and Auto Glym leather cream...

Was about £13.00 for both...

I can't hide the fact that my horns don't work, so I'm off to hoof it down halfrauds, butter up the cashier into giving me a discownt, buy the cream of their honkers, rather than any udders, then through the milk of their human kindness, get the same fitted free of charge, without any bull, or cowing on my part.
