Just got me some Rose Joint ARB Drop Links from SH. Mr postie should bring em this week, I do all my own spanner work, anybody fitted these ? they should be quite easy but anyone got any tips...... :smash:

I brought a pair from BBWF but not got around to fitting them yet, there is a PDF document on Steves site with great instructions for fitting.

Do these give significant improvement for use on the road?

I would guess because you will be working the ARB more it becomes more important to locate the ARB mounting brackets better. See Bible Chapter 11 Page 155

I also enclose a hard copy of the instructions when I send the drop links out. It is faily easy to fit them. The main issues are usually getting the old ones off.

They do make a lot of difference as the anti roll bar will start to work as soon as it starts to move. End result is that roll is corrected as soon as it starts to happen and turn in is improved dramatically. It makes the car a lot less twitchy, especially on bumpy roads.

As for earings.... I suppose I could make some smaller ones up... hmmmm

BTW I have stock right now but after that there will be a 2-3week delivery time until the next batch of components arrive. Order now to avoid disapointment as they say.

It turns out that the original drop links are partly to blame for the arb popping out anyway. The originals can cause the ARB to snatch and in some cases try to pull the ARB out of its mounts. The SHENG drop links are articulated so this is stopped/reduced.

The ARB doesn't start to work more. It's just that as soon as it starts to move, its force is applied to the suspension and not to compressing the original drop link bushes. This means that roll is corrected immediately. As the roll is reduced, the twisting in the ARB is reduced as well so it does less work.

Fitted mine last night, very easy, just clean up the end ARB and on they go. look good and have just got to work better. It was wizzing down so didnt take it out. Great idea great, quality, easy diy fit. If you aint got em, GET EM !
