Twin plenum chamber
Discussion
I had a twin throttle assy on my S, I swear it made no difference at all, if anything the throttle response was slightly duller than previously. I took it off (gave it away to a friend of mine actually .. bugger if the ebay one makes 350 pounds, boo!) .. put the std alloy one back on with a larger single throttle butterfly assy tig welded on and removed the trumpets and blended the trumpet base. gained 8bhp. My advice is as above, there's much better ways of spending 350 pounds.
In SD1 circles, the TP is said to help at the bottem end but very little else, the power figures were 190bhp for both engines in all Rover literature, as (I think was peak torque).
I'm fairly certain that plenum will go on ebay, theres enough SD1 demand for them, the bloke selling them lives fairly close to me (I get all my SD1 spares off him) so if any wedgers do want it, I can collect and deliver to the next TVRCC round at Mallory if thats any use???

Iain
edited cos I've just driven up from Cheltenham (in my SD1) and am knackered and making the most pathetic spelling mistakes that make me sound like a chav. Sorry.
