Now that I've got the wheels apart and polished, what do I reseal the split rim with?
The gasket is knackered and i understand that they are not available!

I looked at clear silicon sealer, but have been told that won't work.

Thanks

Snowy

What about aquarium silicone sealer ?

Very strong bond, and water(air)tight.

I'm no expert, but if you're going down the silicon sealant route, you want a neutral cure type, as the acetic acid in the other type will attack metal. Possibly would also need to be capable of withstanding the sort of temps. that front brakes will radiate when being used hard.
