Are there any replacements for the interior door handles? I'm sure mine are the same as the ones in my nan's old metro.

I think the consensus is that they're Metro.

Will she miss them ?

OH NO got this picture in me ed now of little old lady on Tesco car park, being cut out of Metro by firemen cus she cant open the doors

Just tell her it's for security.
Then you can weld up the doors Nascar-style, and she can climb in and out of the window....hmm there's a point....

PIMP MY WEDGE No seriously if you find anything a bit better let us know what about a metro VP ?? I wonder if you could plasticoat the old ones ??

No, not from a metro. From what I recall of my metro owning days that had plastic handles, the ones on my wedge (1983) are chrome and a different shape. They could be marina or maxi, will have to check. Oh, and they're connected to the locks by a bit of welding rod that breaks from time to time............

Mine are plastic and look like the metro/maestro ones. Is 1990 though.

How do you weld up glass-fibre doors? I know you meant the Metro's doors - Streaky

Ok, looked through my parts list and it says........Maestro/TR7. So there you go! Probably chhanged a couple of times throughout wedge history no doubt....
