oil filter for 4.5 V8 - 400SE

Know it's been done to death on here, but limited time to do a search - lazy

Can someone give me some part numbers for the above - with a non-return valve thingy, as I intend to do one soon !!

Probably put the old one on the WSV as it's probably cleaner ?? and done less miles than current one on WSV

Bad news the WSV will not be at the christmas doo as I think it's only me going - if I remember to book soon, and it failed the MOT on brake pipes. So need to make some more but pipe making tool is on christmas lsit !!

Bad idea to reuse an old filter (you don't know if theres a shard of metal in it), they cost peanuts so would be much better to buy a new one

I phoned Guava and they ordered one in for me. (1 week)
They are MG & Rover dealer in Peasmarsh just south of Guildford.

Bit out of your way though.

I found sourcing the part difficult - Unipart stuff seems very elusive now compared to 20 years ago

Do Fram filters have the valve thingy in then ?
