I think Seamus's wheels went for £260 which is a bit of a bargin.

The other wheels were at £920 before the auction was ended early.
Think I need to get a set of wheel locks

If they are the 16" Tuscan wheels they will fit but run pretty close to the rear tie bars, several owners have them fitted but not sure about the tyre sizes.

My car has 16s fitted from new,i run 245s all round no probs, however i've been told it had 265s at the rear, will have to look into this.
You can see from the pic that these are not the same as the tuscan race wheels,so i'm not sure they are the same offset

You think that's odd? Look at the last item he bought!

MMMMMMM Just to clear things up. I bought the wheels from Birmingham, on day 2 of the auction. They are tucked up in my workshop as spares. The bids inc the one for 5k were the seller trying to cover his ar*e and not knowing how to end the auction early, which he did figure out a few days later. I may be willing to sell one or two if anyone REALLY NEEDS them, Other than that they can sit and gather a little dust untill they are worth 5K

OK - so here is a hyperthetical question.

How much do you all think an OZ 5 spoke split rim wheel (15 or 16 inch) is worth.

My own thinking is that it is rare and worth the same as the best replacement wheels around.

So say about £200 each.

Mmmmmmm So a set for £800, is a single one worth more to the bloke with 3 and a bent one ??

So how do you finish an auction early?

Things like - I reserve the right to withdraw the item as it is also being marketed elsewhere.............

This item has been withdrawn due to a fault........

etc. etc.?

Only if someone valued originality above all else. Replacing with new alternatives would allow an owner to sell 3 good wheels and recoup 3/4 of the cost of the new wheels.

Having said that, I do have a spare set, one of which I've used already.
