You think that's odd? Look at the last item he bought!

The other wheels were at £920 before the auction was ended early.
Think I need to get a set of wheel locks
MMMMMMM Just to clear things up. I bought the wheels from Birmingham, on day 2 of the auction. They are tucked up in my workshop as spares. The bids inc the one for 5k were the seller trying to cover his ar*e and not knowing how to end the auction early, which he did figure out a few days later. I may be willing to sell one or two if anyone REALLY NEEDS them, Other than that they can sit and gather a little dust
untill they are worth 5K

OK - so here is a hyperthetical question.
How much do you all think an OZ 5 spoke split rim wheel (15 or 16 inch) is worth.
My own thinking is that it is rare and worth the same as the best replacement wheels around.
So say about £200 each.
Mmmmmmm So a set for £800, is a single one worth more to the bloke with 3 and a bent one ??

Only if someone valued originality above all else. Replacing with new alternatives would allow an owner to sell 3 good wheels and recoup 3/4 of the cost of the new wheels.
Having said that, I do have a spare set, one of which I've used already.
