Lowered driver's seat!
Discussion
Hi,
Had my car up on a ramp the other day, it's interesting to see what's been done to the car - for example, someone in their wisdom in the past has cut out a small section of the floor pan and lowered slightly for their obviously taller frame. The job ain't great but he has filled the gap with fibregalss, bolts need replacing soon. I've seen this as a bit of a mixed blessing, I'm 6ft 2 and without this 'modification' shall we call it I may not have bought the car - wouldn't have been able to fit into the fella!
Anybody else got any weird mods done by others on theirs? I know they're old motors so ownership changes hands between people with different ideas!

I'm the height of nonsense, but fit in under the targa top ok with chim seats fitted to my car. Interestingly, They seem to lie back at a better angle than the original seats, and are a very comfy fit for me.
He's tall and he's a bloke he's ...
I have read (on here) that the base on the original seats is longer than most other replacement seats and that this is important for comfort with the legs straight out seating position in the Wedge.
Is that correct?
How do the Chim seats compare?

[quote=Matty Boy]6 ft 4 max! I'm 6ft 2 (no, that's not a boast!) and with a lowered seat I still find it a tight fit.
Tallbloke only fits in his Wedge because he never puts the roof up on it
When he joined me for a ride in my 350 last Sunday, the top was already down,
and he is the only person who's head is permanently in the slipstream above the windscreen.
Good job you brought along that lovely Lime Green hat - Roger
Did any of the digi pics come out?
