common question probably,but having sold my chim,i now fancy a wedge to have a play with.
Is it safe to use unleaded fuel in it?

Thats assuming its a V8. May just need the timing changed, but I would imagine 99% have been done already. I thought some of the V6's were leaded only though?

Yeah! took it for granted its a v8!
Mine was running better set at 4deg btdc.

As long as it's a post '83 injected motor, hardened seats came as standard.

its never a problem to drive , even old engines, with unleaded. there is still some lead concentrated in the cylinder-head from running with leaded fuel in da past and thats normally enough for the rest of the cars-live, as long as you dont want to drive 20000miles each year?
