Tie Rod Bushes - What do you recommend?

I have been advised my tie rod bushes have seen better days.
Any recomendations for replacements?
I have searched a couple of threads but there is no definitive answer.

Secondly I was a little confused over how many bushes I need for the tie bars. Some threads have suggested 2 per side (4 bushes in total). Is this correct?

Wheres best to get them from? Ideally I need them in the next couple of days so the guy fitting my engine can replace them for me...

Speak to Richard Thorpe at RT Racing I believe he can supply "kits" of poly bushes and knows his stuff with Wedgie suspension might well be worth a call?

Superflex lists them as

Front tie Rod, Two doughnut bushes sharing one S?S tube, 1 of 2 £10.40

Superflex bushes ordered.
Richard wanted best part of £60 for the 2 bushes, TVR car parts £20 for the superflex type - Maybe not as good as Richards, but mine are shot to pieces and I'm skint!

Agree with cumeus... I have just replaced my front large cotton reel ones with superflex, 25 squid with postage. Simple job if you use the advice in the bible.

He's a great bloke though...

His tie rod bush (compliance) kit is a bit pricey, but good quality.

When I bought mine from Richard I seem to remember it came as a kit and included new washers etc. Are we comparing like with like here?

Yeah you get 2 s/s cylinders, 4 steel washers, 4 brass ones and 4 purple discs.
