Not very exciting but thought id let you all know that i think i got a bargain!

Really upsetting changing tyres which have almost new tread all round, but they had been on the car whilst it was in storage so the walls had seen better days...i didnt even get round to finding an empty car park to practise my DO-NUTS!

Anyhow, bought some Falkons 512's which is a V rated tyre with a really quite soft compound for sticky roads in the summer!

225/50/15 all round, fitted and balanced for £225.96

I'd day that was good going! I had these on my Clio 16v and they were great! Good at smokeing while shreading the tread i seem to remember...not that i was ever a hooligan in a hot hatch....

I got them from a place called 2U tyres in Petersfield - 01730 233399

I would seriously reccomend them. I get all my tyres there, really nice guys!

The kind of tyre guys you trust not to try bashing balancing bits on the outside of the rims or slipping and kerbing them for you!

In Fact, such nice reliable guys, i left my keys with them so they could move it about and put it on the ramps whilst i went and had lunch. They even sorted my blowing exhaust for me free of charge!

11 out of ten!...i guess i appreciate them as ive had some BAD experiances with other companies in the past with scratching my alloys!

I got a pair of Good-year's fitted balanced and VAT in Fareham for £120 the pair on my Wedge. Thought that was pretty good. Protyre on Trinity Street if anyone is interested.
