Hi there, I've been really wanting a tvr of some description for quite some time in my life, and I have a fascination of cars shaped like wedges (I have a mk1 mr2 at the moment hehe).

I have had a search but I couldnt' find anything that matched, I was wondering if there is a buyers guide available, as I'm currently seriously thinking about a 350i.

It's been said on here before, Don't buy the first one you look at, and check the chassis. Then check the chassis. For good measure you also need to check the chassis. Make sure the electrics work. Then, to be certain check the chassis.
By the way do all this before you start the engine, and definately before you test drive.
Once you hear a Wedge V8, you'll never want anything else. You'd probably sell your own Grandmother. If you could bottle the exhaust note, it'd be considered a class A drug!!

Thanks very much for all the replies, I don't mind waiting for the right one as I hope to get my mr2 restored, mainly because then I can sell it for the majority of the cash required to get some v8 wedgeness

You need to answer a few questions before you decide which TVR to buy,

Are you Gay ??
Do you play Golf ??
Are you a hairdresser ??
Are you an Estate agent ??
Have you got alot of facial hair ?? ( sorry Gandalf )
Do you like Burgers ??

You should answer yes to only one of the above...... but which one ??

Thought that Steve Heath's wedge bible is THE wedge buyers guide. You could be overwelmed with information, but it does the trick (it did for me).

Believe there are at least 2 mags doing an article.

I had a look in Smiffs on Sat in all the July editions - nuffing yet.
Want to see mine in print.
