i had some carpets made up by coverdale carpets for my 86 wedge very good as well as reasonable price and they have templates tel.no.01942 255535

Yes, I have had a quote and some samples from them, they wanted twice as much as a set for an MG which I thought was a bit steep! They also seemed to struggle with the colour I was interested in. However, they were very responsive and helpful.

I have now found somebody who will make a set for half the price in the right colour. He needs the old carpets for the templates, and I thought it may be easier to take old out and put new in at the same time, and reduce the amount of time off the road.

dont forget to get a sample of the carpets as when i was looking there was a wide range i ended up paying apox 185 pounds + p+p and vat aprox 240 all in then i had to cut it out and get it edged
some of the carpets i was sent was crap so check before saying yes

I realise it's a different model, but I had some for my S made by a company called Autostyle (os similar name). They were about £90 and good quality (2 x footwell, 1x rear shelf). Dave

I'm doing my carpets as it is a straight forward job. Provided you take car when removing the old set, they will make good templates as I have done. The most importamt part is to ensure you pair up your patterns when cutting the carpet to ensure you get an even grain.
