As Rog has already posted, he has fractured vertebrae and sternum as a result of meeting a 4x4 driver cornering on his side of the road on a bend on Friday evening. Going through a ditch/hedge was a better option than the alternative. He's flat on his back in hospital so is 50/50 for BBWF at the moment. He's not at death's door but in pain and drugged up at the moment.
If he can attend I'll be chauffeur anyway as I'm coming in my daily car as I can't drive the wedge due to an arthritic hip (healthy bunch the West Yorks crowd!).
As he was involved in the organising he's asked me:-
Can mrmaggit contact me regarding the BBQ
Can rev-erend contact me regarding anything else Rog was doing
I'll email you both directly as well so all bases are covered.

PS He specifically asked that if anybody wants to send anything he'd like flowers and grapes rather than beer (ha!).

Just got in to read this. Dreadful news TB. Hope they are taking good care of you & you are off the spinal board soon. Horrid things if you are on one

Don't worry - he was well enough to start slagging off the private outsource company that had installed the combined radio/tv/phone/internet device above the bed!
I'm away from PH for a couple of days due to problems with me pc and I come back to read this Get well soon Roger and if you can't make BBWF then don't worry about it. I would rather that you got better first than causing yourself more pain. If there is anything that I can do, please let me know.
