BBQ - looking for feedback

Too many posts re BBWF to pick this up so just wonder how the BBQ went ie enough food and good quality. I'm sure it was but just checking for the Growl boys.
rev - did want to catch up with you but didn't see you again after seeing you in reception. Had to go as I was in the middle of the tour.

BBQ was by far the best one yet. Masses of food left over - in fact Ali and co managed to feed his regulars with what we could not manage, and believe me we had some BIG eaters with us
FYI we went for a £10/head option to make doubly sure there would be enough. Quality also matched the quantity.

I was delighted with the BBQ and entertainment provided by The White Horse. Their staff were cheerful and efficient, the food was ample and of great quality. The extra help provided for other activities like the wedge cake and fruit salad dessert, the band, and the tug of war proved again that Kirk and Ali do it for fun as well as profit, and the atmosphere was the best I've experienced at the BBWF.
The whole evening meal was better than last year, the ale was better, the band were great and there was lashings of food.
If you are looking for really picky (it seems churlish but): -
The band were a little bit too loud - I know I'm getting old now.
Some of the meat (chicken) was a bit overcooked and black smoky, the BBQ setup needed a wee bit of attention.
Otherwise - Grrrrrreat.

PS HOG ROAST
The White horse has an annual hog roast, next weekend as it happens. The thing I have about hog roasts is that although they are great, it limits the choice on offer. On saturday we had Chicken breasts, steaks and burgers all available simultaneously.
I had one of each.

The thanks for the BBQ are due to Kirk and Ali and rest of The White Horse team.
My best contribution was to keep the ticketing arrangements fluid until the last minute so last minute attendees could be accomodated.
THIS DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN ALL GET TICKETS ON THE DAY NEXT YEAR!!!!
Oh, and the cake...
I think that the BBQ was excellent and Kirk and Ali did a great job. There was far more food there then I expected there to be and I think that everyone enjoyed the food and the fact there was a good selection of it.
The band were not bad either. Played a good variety of music and added to the atmosphere of the evening.
