Sun Visor...

Both of the sun visors on my 350i have become very droopy (I know there is nothing worse!) The plastic inserts seem to have cracked and do not grip the shaft. Anyone know what car they were off or any magic repairs people may have done

they are off a capri.

I believe TVRcarparts had a box of about 100 or so

Have you tried taking them off, pulling off the ends and wrapping a bit of tape over the spindle to increase the diameter.

Or put a strip of self adhesive velcro on the top so it sticks in the up position? (Oh-er!)

Removed mine. Perhaps not the solution you want.
When driving and there is sun, the top of the windscreen is fine for me as it is acting as sunvisors, combined with some sunglasses.....

I as Mikeb used velcro on the visor and top of window screen, that worked well.

Taking mine off the car and chucking them in the back of the garage was the first thing i did to the 400! When they are down you cant see where your going, and when there up they limit sunlight!

Thanks guys will try the old velcro trick in the interim and check out TVR car parts. Trying to keep the car as original as possible
