Bottom Diff Carrier

I have bought a second hand bottom diff carrier for an A frame chassis from a fellow pher. I have had it sand blasted and painted however I've just taken it out of the box and noticed that it isnt straight. If you hold the U channel to the back and look at the piece from the front (mounting holes towards you) the right hand side of the front section is lower that the left. Also the bush mounting on the right hand side is lower than the left. As this is quite a hefty piece of engineering could this possibly be how it came out of the factory or do you think that it has taken a substancial knock. I am concerned if I fit it as is that the geomety will be effected.

I would think the suspension arms would fold before the diff carrier bent but I could be wrong. You could take it to a blacksmith and get him to heat it up and hammer it straight. Camber and toe are obviously adjustable so would take out some of the imperfections anyway.
