What are the pro's and cons of LPG then? Anyone had it done? Are there any issues regarding "state of tune" as compared to the Range Rover set up?

Pros of running LPG? Well its about 105 ron (as opposed to 98 ron for super unleaded or 99 ron for Tesco rocket fuel...
Less polution, although would that mean less road tax?
Better range as effectivly 2 fuel tanks. You might even manage 200 miles between filling up

So - is it possible? I'm thinking of converting the 350i to diesel so I don't have to pay silly prices for fuel.
What are my options regarding engines? I figure a large Perkins would be too heavy and probably too tall. And would take ages to rev up. Maybe an old Merc engine?

I have a 4HP British Seagull that I'm selling.
It's not a diesel but fuel economy is excellent and no gearbox to fail on you, of course you might perceive a slight alteration in performance figures.
