280i - LHD footwell vent cover

I'm guessing that the 280i, and other similar Wedge models, had a vinyl-trimmed GRP cover over both driver's and passenger's side footwell vents. Mine doesn't have a cover on the driver's side (again, US LHD car), just an exposed vent outlet and other plumbing and wiring. If this cover looks anything like the one in the passenger's side, I could easily make this. What I don't see is how the cover is affixed. The passenger's side cover has a bolt coming from somewhere, which happily turns with nut on the footwell side. What's going on with this. How the hell does one access the bolt head?

Anyone have a spare cover? Or a simple picture or drawing?

I have a spare somwhere, can't remember what side it is off. It is black.
Will have a look when I get home tonight.

They seem to be screwed into any thing that was there!
One of mine is screwed into another piece of trim, the other is screwed into the hose itself and looks like this was done at the factory as there are no other holes to be seen!

Back home at last.
The one i have is from the drivers side of a RHD car so may not be of use to you.
It is not as curved as the one on my 200, more of a 90 degree job and has rocker switches for the wash & wipe.
