280i Reversing Switch

I’ve been looking for a reversing switch for my 1982 Tasmin and having no luck.

I’ve contacted a few TVR dealers and car shops and none have been able to find this switch.

So I bought a standard switch used on Granada and modified it slightly…..

I tried the switch last night and it works a treat.

If anyone would like more detail on this switch drop me a line and I can sort some drawings out.

hi, interesting idea.....i had the same problem, but my local ford dealer could organize an original one, cost about 20,-euro. also this dealer has the switches in stock:

LOVE THIS! With a TVR, just roll your own! And most often it's not hard to beat OE TVR quality.
