Me poor car...!

I managed to fracture the left-hand manifold, blow a patch off the right hand one, scrub the front offside tyre to within a whisker of illegality, anihilate £100-worth of petrol and probably miffed the Supra driver who couldn't shake me off no matter how hard he tried - and don't forget my injection system was on the blink! I pulled the ECU to bits and found thre duff solder joints - my own fault as the first time I reflowed that ECU I only did one board - so with any luck that'll have fixed it (at least till next year).
I also discovered the engine bay liberally awash with coolant and traced it to (yet another) split in the coolant header tank: that piece of plastic crap has GOT to go.

So, apart from me and the guy who needs a head gasket, any more 'Fest casualties?

My knob came off in my hand on the A421 on the way home. I had to keep screwing it back on...

I did actually get as far as buying some alloy sheet and a pre-machined alloy filler neck, with the intention of making my own (bit pointless having a TIG set if you don't use it)... but I'll think about it!
