Thanks for the Hagerty thread a few days back , tried them and was staggered , more expensive to insure a wheelbarrow than a BBW .

Do hagerty allow commuting? If not, how do you get away with it - presumably driving across the farmyard isn't covered? ;^)

I asked them about that, they said they don't mind if you take it in "now and again", likewise the Tescos run (via the Brecon Beacons driving)

Hagerty only insure your car if its a second car, commuting is allowed as long as its not regular. I got mine done with them £149 biggrin with 6 pts on mine and 3 pts on my missuss licence. No NCB required for this price either as its a second/ weekend car policy I think its gotta be under 3000 miles a year too

I'm with them. £160. Anyone over 25 is also covered fully comp. to drive the wedge, so long as they have fully comp insurance (non Hagerty) on their own car.
I am covered to drive Ultimas in the Petersfield area!

I just gave them a call about a future Tuscan or Cerbera.
Both around the £270 mark fully comp with 3000 miles!!!
Why are they so cheap?

Not necessarily - It could be a SEAC, Tuscan or Cerbera next. It all depends what comes along at the right time & price that needs some tidying doing on it.
And if the wedge doesn't sell, I don't care!

Thats my worry - a speed 6 going pop.
If a 450 SEAC comes along for the right money, then this would be my preferred route.
Theres even a certain "pimped up" silver spectraflair 450se that made an appearance at wedgefest a couple of years ago that could be on the horizon when mine sells.

If you can't decide between SEAC and SE apparently there is a wedge out there that could be both!!! wink

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

We've seen the future, and its wedged.

And for the benefit of the non-believers, check out Simon Cole's sprint wedge (OK so hes got a race prepped 4.8 in it), but he won the TVR Speed Championship with it last year, and the sprint champ boys are handicapped on tyres and power to weight...
