Can anyone confirm where the bottom feed of the header tank goes.

Mine goes to the rad small connector top right looking forward.

Yep. Neds a reducer as the bottom stub on the header tank is quite a bit bigger than the rad overflow. I blanked off one of the two remaining stubsm as I did some replumbing to remove the silly hotspot under the plenum.

I removed the hot spot also, but this on mine was not plumbed into the rad.

do you have any pic on how's your's in currenly all conected. as I think on thr wedges they over complicated things, the Griff and V8s seem to have a simplier design.

Similar here -
Bottom tapping on header tank connected to top of rad (as above does needs reducer)
Mid tapping on header tank connected to header pipe (just under fill point on engine)
Upper connect on header tank blanked
Hot spot on plenum removed
Small pipe from heater tube removed & blanked (not bypass - this is necessary)
Small pipe from inlet manifold removed & blanked
Fill header tank to indicator level (about 2 thirds full - NOT totally full as some handbooks suggest.
Holds temp in all conditions never need to top up.
