Getting rid of that jap thing
Discussion
Still poking around chaps. I realise its not a 400 but is this good value and is it a well known car.

Obviously I will have to drive a couple to see whats what. My little jap thing is good for 0-60 in about 5 sec with the turbo mods etc but I need a torque fix again. Plus that noise

Good luck with the sale of the Jap thing.
If its definately a wedge you want, have a look round a few first so you know what your looking for and NEVER buy the first one you see when you hear the V8 engine roar into life.
For a very good wedge, you need to be paying somewhere around the £10k ballpark.
Despite what some people put in their adverts, £3k will not buy a pristine example, but a fair example which will need a little work and tinkering but will be great fun none-the-less.
As PWD95 has already said, there are a few very good wedges for sale at the moment (which is quite rare). I don't know what your budget is but I can personally vouch for these:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/240221.htm
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/213866.htm (This is the best because its mine
)
The certain white 400se you are on about is also great but I can't see an ad for it.
If your after noise and serious speed, you'll be hard pushed to beat PWD95's 450i special. Again, I can't see an ad for it.

Cheers Lee.
Yup I have looked at all those (over and over again, all lovely)
If I wait till the Roadster sells I can afford any of them, just don't know if I should spend the lot or keep some back as a 'slush fund' for unforseen problems.
Some cars up for grabs are not being advertised
thanks to all you 'wedgers' that have mailed me with tips, info and their cars for sale
yes it's definitely going to be a wedge
