I've recently fitted an Emerald ECU to my TVR and in the process I've removed the extra air valve and also the inlet plenum heating pipes. But what do people use to blank off the cooling or air hoses that are no longer connected to anything? At the minute I've used pieces of metal rod cut to 1/2 inch lengths and pushed in the end of the hose with a clip on it. But this looks unsightly and doesn't necessarily give a good seal. Does anyone know of any products that are designed for this purpose?

Yes for the hot plate on the plenum you can just re-route to Header tank. also if you take it off completly you have to block the two of the bolt holes as the back too go all the way into the plemum.
Another example pic below. I have it completly removed.

But for the extra air you have to block it off, you may bet better taking the hose off, and using a rubber bung. or get a bolt of the same size and blank it off with that with some gasket sealant.
