Diff Question

Has anyone attempted to change the bolts on the diff output flanges before? My threads are completely crackered - I am sure the guy that stripped this car used a gas axe and a big hammer. I see that Wards sell them but I am unsure whether they can be changed without a total stripdown.

Any advice would be greatly received

I can't help with your specific question but a good tip is...

You need to use all metal lock nuts and not Nylock nuts because of the proximity of the brakes (read heat!).

An XJS Haynes manual might offer your answer?
