So where and when do you want BBWF 08 ?
What do you want to see there ?
What do you want to do there ?
Did you like the rolling road at 07 ?
etc etc

Please remember the one rule of WedgeFest it must be FREE (the RR, Hotel, BBQ, Bar, raffle are optional)So a Wedger should be able to turn up on the day and spend nothing, open to everyone and FREE !!

These are open questions to every Wedger here on PHs, so come on have your say at this stage anything goes biggrin

The free UK event is a must! Priority number 1 nothing must detract from this.

For the more hardcore Wedger of which I am sure there are many it would be good to do a foreign trip as well.

Personally I will be at the UK event wherever/whenever it is held 100% for definite.
A foreign trip this year? I'm 50/50 on this as I won't have my garage finished in time and I need to do some preparation before doing a longer trip. Preparation which would be a lot easier to do in the comfort of a dry and level garage!

UK event should be a definate, but agree with other comments about a possible change of Venue.
How about Wales and the Evo Triangle ??? Or the Peak District with the Cat and Fiddle run?.
Would definately consider a convoy abroad though aswell.

As I have said before, I was devastated that I missed last years Fest
because I was away on holiday and would much prefer a date away from
the school summer holidays
(which is the only time we, and I'm sure many other Wedgers also, can go away)

Ettington has always been a good spot with good facilities
and I think the evening do at the pub round the corners was great also.
If you did choose another venue, would you get all this together?

If you did choose a venue further North, then I would be happy to help out more.

Keep the main format of the Fest as it is now
and don't upset the present organisers who do such a good job each year.

I would also be interested in a foreign trip to Holland and Zolder as well.

Cheers
Richard

DARREN YOU ASKED FOR ALL SUGGESTIONS SO
I think we should also have some dancing girls

As long as its no further up north than Ettington, and Don't clash with a race week End, I'd be willing to bring the BBWRC down.

Not anyone no way! Do you not have your missus trained in the art of a safe wash Darren!? Thats easily done with a bit of training hehe Get them all together and they can wash all day, it would keep them busy building the charity bucket up while us wedgers are playing with all the things to do!!!

No chance Paul Angie is only allowed near the Wedge to get in and out of it, oh and when she's on guard duty.

OK OK is this going anywhere (amusing as it is).

My vote is:

100% free and in the UK - sounds like a good maxim, let's keep to it (sorry dutchies).

If it's Ettington again, so be it, I'll be there.

However I'd go for an Ettington-like venue - for a change. The price is about right (apart from the bar but anyhoo...) and there is the option of a spa/pool for the missus.
