She would make work on Blue Number 7 a lot easier and faster, but I dont know anyone down that end and cannae afford to pay £200 for someone to pick it up frown

That's bad Scott - you can't afford £200 for a whole wedge....

me too.
Looks in good condition.
He'd be better off selling it on ebay, at least he would get somthing.

I'd be very tempted if it was not so far. devon and back at 50mph is a bit much. would be a very early start or a stay over. and don't have a whole weekend to spare.

I'm just going to wipe it from my mind.

Its in Dorset isn't it, not Devon! (I've seen it at one of their monthly meets I think) make sure you join the RAC or AA first, then go and "buy" it, get it out on the roadside, then phone them up to recover it to your home! biggrin (unless they can fix it of course!)

Don't quote me on this tho paperbag

You would need a valid tax and mot for the car also before the AA / Rac come out.
They will check on there database.

Devon / Dorset still a long way SW.

Be a waste to break her also, look like it could be a good starter car.

Also what's up with the body on #7

Well:

Struan Robertson had a rather large off during his last season and totally smashed the nose cone, which is now in pieces, but wrapped in alluminium laugh

Thinking about it, maybe it would be a bit of a waste to strip it down, although I may copy the colour scheme hehe

I have agreed to buy the mould, to make the lightweight once piece front Ends.

as mine also needs a repairing or fixing. so depends of your GRP skills, (mine are currently zero, but should be fun learning) you could help me make some,

They are a lot better if your racing as the whole front is removable in one go.

I've also Got a full mould for the front of the S1 tasmin upto and including the bulkhead and can make any bits from that.

I've also got

lightweight single skin bonnet ( 350i style)
front spoiler for s1 and s2 280i

The one piece mould you have was actually taken from an s2 car so is slightly different to the s1 car, but can be made to fit as you can see from your car..

If I were you I'd also leave the mould where it is with Andy and get him to make one for you using your mould, with his skill and access to materials is going to be far easier and cheaper to get him to make the panel for you... He does all of mine

cheers

All I said was to check, as they would not help if it has not got them,.
