Right, now i've had problems with seized clutches from laying up my 350 before, usual story. Get the engine warm, etc etc and eventually it frees itself. Now thinking i was being clever, i wedged (no pun intended) the cluth pedal down to prevent it from seizing.........yep, you guessed it.......its now seized disengaged this time and therefore i dont have the luxury of turning over in gear etc to free it off. I can select any gear and turn engine over but no drive. Any ideas?

Does the pedal stay down or has it come back up now you`ve removed the wedge?Tempus

WHAT EVER YOU DO do not select a gear and rev the engine....as this just MIGHT engage.
You do not say which engine you have (cable or fluid clutch)

Edited to say...I assume it's a 350....it might of broken the clutch release arm.

If the clutch is down I would not have thought it would be stuck to anything as there would be no pressure on the clutch.

You may have to do what I did in the end, and cut a hole in the bell housing. the best place is where the BL label is.

you may want to take the slave cylinder out 1st to make sure its not that that's stuck.

Its a series 2 350 with hydraulic system. The clutch pedal returns to position but it is total 'free' with no resistance what so ever. The slave cylinder was replaced 3 months ago(new) from previous seizure and me using excessive pressure to try and release it. Could i have blown the seals or something? There is still fluid in the reservoir with no evidence of leakage, though i guess this could be hidden away in the bellhousing.

It sounds like the slave cyl. has seized, open the bleed valve on the slave and see if the piston rod goes back,if it doesn`t give the arm a tap and a bit of encouragement, close bleed valve, and see if you`ve got a pedal.Tempus

Ah, so you can make yourself medallions.., always thought you had to earn them!

Yoking aside:
Did this as well (as opposed to taking engine out etc. type of options), and it works! Closed the hole with thin metal sheet and a few self tapers.
