Someone at a classic car meet looked at the boot hinges on my 390 once and said 'they are off a Hillman ' , I was thinking of saying 'no ' then thought maybe he's right .

Boot hinges were Imp.

My car has heater hoses from a Transit.

Bonnet and boot latches were Fiesta.

Coolant expansion tank was ex- Capri or Granada.

I'm sure when I had my Tasmin someone told me the handbrake lever was ex-Escort van (and probably other Mk1/2 Escorts too).

Trailing arm front bush was the same as on the Lotus Esprit. On the Esprit however they last forever... and they're cheaper from a Lotus specialist than a TVR one

The early chrome ones were; mid-life black ones Kitten and the later SE ones I don't know.
