Well guys, after 18 very fun months, the wedge has now gone to a new home frown

I know you'll say "We told you so", but I felt a lump in my throat as she dissapeared down the road cry

The new owner is a nice enough guy and I'm sure he will take good care of her. Hes very local too so at least I should see her around smile

Now I just need to find somthing curvey... boxedin

Know doubt I will be back very soon as BadRedWedge and possibly MikeB will testify the grass is not greener...

All that remains is for me say say it was nice knowing you guys and thanks for your help over the past few years of wedge ownership - is been a pleasure.

Take it easy,
Lee thumbup

Welldone Lee , that car is a stunner and the new owner is very lucky . I take it you are still likely to come and play come BBWF even if you have to park around the back .Goodluck with the new wheels whatever they may be .

Cheers Alsonar

Cheers for your comments guys.
I feel when I get something more curvy, the camaraderie between follow owners may not live up to what I have become used to on this forum - We'll have to see.

Wedgefest this year? Ooh yer - I wouldn't miss it for the world. I even planned my wedding the weekend after so I wouldn't miss it. Its just a shame I won't have a wedge to turn up in.

Hi all me old wedge looks nice still.I had this car around 7 years ago spent ages doing the wheels (polishing and painting the centres) ,hand cut the 400 decals (what a nightmare).Had it fully painted by pr wood motor bodies but had so much headache with it so i sold it and bought a 500 chim, what a waste off money that was much preferred the wedge.I now have a sierra 3 door cosworth, much more useable and alot quicker.Still as i said nice to see it around still

Great to hear from another previous owner of this wedge. What did you do to the car during your ownership? I can't recall seeing your name on any of the invoices in the service history file....
Did you have a private plate on the car by any chance?

Hi all yeh done loads to it ,exhuasts, wheels, bigger fan on the rad, painted the metal coolant pipes white, ally vents in the dash (still have orignals),speakers in the doors ,re cut a new front mesh for the rad ,brakes all round, oils all round,400 decals and much more.A lot of the bills where in my other halfs name and a few from wag bennets . I bought it out of the auto trader and i still have the page it was on .
The chim was nice but in tvr world to common, the sound of the wedge and it being alot rarer(i think 247 was made somthing like that) made it for me paul
