Anyone know what the maximum flow of air I can support through the standard 3.5 flapper airflow meter, and is it the flow of air that is the limit or is it the injectors? Want to rebuild the engine, considering a largish supercharger (GMC 4-71, Wade RO34 or Eaton M112 from Jag) and unsure whether I can get the recently new engine management to work, or do I ditch it in favour of a Weber 500?

Had a good chat with Nigel at UKblowers and he would go for a carb. Just needs some careful thought before I build the engine up. Thanks

Personally I would ditch it completely and go for a Megasquit (sic) or similar, which can work out the air mass from MAP sensor, engine speed and temperature.

The flapper will only get in the way.
