Has anyone got any idea on how much it would be to retrim the whole interior of a wedge??

For example turn a complete grey into a complete cream interior??

Thanks,
Dave

When I was looking a couple of years ago, I was quoted £1000 for the seats to be refurbed, and then another £1000 for a retrim and another £1000 for a carpet job !!

Did the carpets myself for @£250, bought 2 decent Chimera seats for £500 and cleaned the rest !

So if you have the money get it done and it will look very nice smile

A couple of things to point you in the right direction.

1. Do you want full or part leather - as this will determine price?

2. Are you able to strip out and re-fit the interior yourself - if so that will also determine your final price.

3. Trimmers vary their prices so shop around. There's no extra cost to stitch leather or vinyl

4. Don't put your re-trim through a TVR dealer as they sub-out their work and charge you a hefty mark up price inc VAT which will be
ridiculous.

5. You can buy your materials through Martirm who have a massive choice of leather & vinyl.

I went down the full vinyl route because I liked the colour and the matt finish plus its easier to maintain and is longer lasting. I also stripped out and refitted my interior including the screen pillars and I found an excellent trimmer who charged me a great price and did a blinding job on my seats. He stitched together my dash, door cards and instrument binacle which I re-covered myself. I also recovered my centre armrest which I altered slightly.

As for carpets - again this is well within the DIY scope provided you trim your carpet using some basic teqhniques. Again, use a trimmer to bind the edges if need be.

My guess on a trimmer doing an entire re-trim inc carpets to be somewhere in the £2-3k bracket. My full re-trim inc carpets cost me £500.

when I had my full retrim it cost me £1100 for carpets and seats, and door cards in what is probably some of the last Connolly Hide.
