Sorry guys -wedge gone, Hpi not clear as well as the chassis
Discussion
As you know my wedge was in for chassis refurb and rear handbrake callipers etc for its MOT, I sold the Maserati this week, juggling with loads of ideas for a new car to replace it, I thought of a Griff
I saw one and phoned him up not expecting to be interested in part exing my wedge, when I mentioned the chassis work I was getting done, he said "oh thats a shame you're having it done I would have done a part ex on it (for a good sum!)" Soooo I got really tempted...so tempted I agreed to the deal subject to Rob Ingleby inspecting it. He took my car number plate to hpi check it, and guess what? It wasn't clear
!!!?? I was stupid enough not to check it when I bought it:clown:, he said he was still happy to do the deal but at 2 thirds of what he offered in the first place, I thought about it, and decided I should...err...bite his hand off! As it really was still a good deal and I was worried that that may be my only chance ever of someone accepting it.
So there yer go!!
Really sorry to do this to you guys, I'll still be about and still attend the wedge fest, I'll try and park round the back too!
...editted to add, luckily the chassis work hadnt been started on, that made me more keen as I really did get a good deal and RI never found a thing wrong with it

Crikey that's a quick turn around
I bet theres quite a few cars out there that aren't squeakey so to speak. Doesn't matter with these as long as the chassis is good. Anyway good luck boyo, I might be parked with you round the back at BBWF yet
I be there with you both!

Sorry to hear the news Woody. The 400se was a very nice car, hope you have better luck with the Grief.
