New month, new price.

I've got the chance to buy a good Griff 500 pretty soon so I'd like to see it go to a good home sooner rather than later chaps. Get your skates on boyos.

Interesting, 250bhp from a tweaked 4.5, I don't feel so bad about our 400SE only pushing out 220bhp now.

Antother Cheep wedge here.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/366395.htm

Oops just noticed it's woody's car.

Quote just "had full chassis renovation" that was quick. I would double check the work, and make sure it's not just been wax oiled or painted.

He's got a cheep griff also.

oops just saw the "Full Chassis renovation??" post do ignor this.

Depends on the torque though...

Thanks chaps. This is a once only price. I've agreed a price on a 97R Griff 500, Metallic black, black leather, alloy dash. cloud9

He's come down a bit so I can afford to let mine go for a good price so the difference I have to pay stays the same. I really don't want to miss this chance.

As for the power, it's one of J.E's stump pullers. The tourque curve is very flat. It pulls over 270 ft/lbs from 2/3k onwards & peaks at 310 at about 4800 revs. You really have to be very carefull & gentle with the throttle...yesyes

After 18 months it still takes my breath away and go ffwwwooooaarkkinnelll..biggrin

As I say, I can let this car go for a very good price in the next few weeks but if I miss this Griffith then I'll be having a serious re-think.

P.S. Its going in for an outrigger refurb next week so it'll be sold with a virtually perect waxoiled chassis. thumbup

If I had the space / cash / approval from the boss I'd bite your hand off.

Why did you have to go and spoil the moment smile

I will dig the plot out and have a look.

Well, if I still lived in Pontypridd and we hadn't just had the baby, then I would be knocking on yer door! Someone is going to get a bargain.... Good luck with the curvy!

And a nice dollop of torque in a flat curve is far more important than outright power - bet it would tow a caravan a treat! (Can you imagine seeing THAT??!) biggrin

Well as I say, if mine doesn't sell & I miss out on this Griff then I'm going to do some hard thinking. Trouble is I know almost every inch of this car now & getting to know another car is going to take some time etc etc.....scratchchin

Must admit the price of 5L griefs seem to be getting lower , there's one in the Sprint classifieds for less than 8k , and only 35k miles ! Cheaper than some 400se 's !
